From raw materials to final delivery. Every connection matters.
Tracevia brings production records, supplier information, quality inspections and shipment histories together, so manufacturers and distributors can trace products and investigate quality issues with AI-assisted analysis.
Click any supplier, lot, batch or shipment to trace it.
The problem
A customer reports a bad product. Now what?
In most plants the answer sits across spreadsheets, paper certificates, ERP exports and WhatsApp threads. The same investigation looks very different depending on whether those records are linked.
Today, without linked records
- Day 1
QA searches production logs for the batch code on the complaint.
- Day 1–2
Someone finds the paper COA folder to check which ingredient lots were used.
- Day 2–3
Emails to warehouse and sales to work out where the batch shipped.
- Day 3+
Decision made on incomplete data — often recalling more stock than needed, or missing affected shipments.
With Tracevia
- Minute 1
Search the batch code. Its lots, supplier COAs and inspections are already linked.
- Minute 5
Trace the suspect lot forward to every batch and shipment that used it.
- Minute 10
AI analysis shows whether the same issue appeared in earlier batches or on other lines.
- Same day
Open an investigation with scope, owner and corrective-action steps recorded.
Timelines are illustrative of a typical manual investigation and the intended Tracevia workflow.
Platform
One connected record for quality, suppliers and shipments
Product Traceability Engine
Trace any lot backward to its source or forward to every customer from a single search.
How it works
Four steps from scattered records to a traced answer
- 01
Bring in records
Upload supplier COAs, production reports and inspection sheets, or import batch and shipment lists.
- 02
Link the chain
Tracevia extracts key fields and connects each lot to the batches and shipments it belongs to.
- 03
Trace and analyse
Search any code to trace it both ways. AI highlights recurring defects and suspicious lots.
- 04
Investigate and act
Open an investigation with scope, owner and status, and keep every decision on record.
Interactive demo
Walk through a moisture investigation
Search and filter batches, open a batch to see its genealogy and change its status, follow investigations, inspect an extracted certificate, and ask the assistant. All records are fictional sample data.

Who it's for
Built for teams who answer "where did this go?"
Food & beverage and agro-processing
Problem · A complaint about one product means hours searching which ingredient lots went into which batches.
With Tracevia · Register incoming lots with their COAs, link them to batches, and trace complaints in one search.
Pharmaceutical distributors
Problem · Batch numbers, expiry dates and supplier documents live in separate systems and inboxes.
With Tracevia · Keep supplier certificates attached to each batch received and see exactly which customers each batch went to.
Consumer goods manufacturers
Problem · Packaging, ingredient and line issues repeat because inspection notes are never compared.
With Tracevia · Let AI inspection analysis compare defects across lines, shifts and suppliers.
Industrial components & wholesale
Problem · Proving which supplier lot went into a failed part, or which customers received it, is slow and manual.
With Tracevia · Link supplier lots to builds and outbound orders, then scope an issue before calling customers.
Technology
How We Use Amazon Web Services
Tracevia's proposed architecture is serverless on AWS: quality documents land in Amazon S3, Amazon Textract turns them into structured fields, Amazon DynamoDB stores the links between suppliers, lots, batches and shipments, and Amazon Bedrock analyses those linked records to surface defect patterns and answer questions with cited evidence.
Uploads and batch data enter a secure workspace
Lot numbers, dates and results pulled from documents
Suppliers → lots → batches → shipments connected
Patterns, recall scope and grounded answers
Role-based app access, alerts and monitoring
- Amazon S3: Stores uploaded production reports, certificates of analysis and inspection documents.
- Amazon Textract: Extracts lot numbers, dates and test results from scanned and PDF quality documents.
- Amazon Bedrock: Powers inspection pattern analysis and the AI Quality Assistant, grounded in linked records.
- Amazon DynamoDB: Holds supplier, lot, batch, inspection and shipment records and the links between them.
- AWS Lambda: Runs document processing, trace queries and investigation workflows.
- Amazon API Gateway: Exposes secure APIs between the Tracevia web app and backend services.
- Amazon Cognito: Handles user sign-in and role-based access for each customer workspace.
- Amazon EventBridge: Schedules recurring quality checks and triggers alerts on new results.
- Amazon SES: Sends investigation updates and quality alert emails.
- Amazon CloudWatch: Monitors application health, processing errors and performance.
Progress & early access
Help shape the first release
Tracevia was founded in 2026 and the first version is being built now. The initial release focuses on the essentials quality teams asked for first.
- Supplier directory and batch registry
- Production records and document uploads
- Traceability search, backward and forward
- AI-assisted quality summaries
Early-access teams get a guided setup with their own records and direct input into the roadmap, including barcode/QR scanning and ERP integrations.
